Virginia Equine Surgery and Sports Medicine was founded in 2019 as an ambulatory practice providing surgery, lameness, sports medicine and routine health care to horses in Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. 

 

Dr. Meagher acquired his clinic in Berryville (formerly Gordonsdale Farm) in late 2023 and is proud to offer his surgical and lameness expertise to the horses of the area.  Virginia Equine Surgery and Sports Medicine was excited to further expand with the addition of Dr Sarah Carter and Dr Deanna Hegge in 2024, providing enhanced services and care to the horses in the area.
